Your Guide To Chic Sporty Styling

Your Guide To Chic Sporty Styling

The heart of sports season is approaching, and if you’re into sports at all, you’ll want to show your pride. But who wants to be stuck wearing baggy men’s-style jerseys all the time? I mean, I do sometimes, but not so much for beer at the bars. So, I’ve put together a simple guide to chic, sporty styling. You in?

Pit Stop #1: Victoria’s Secret

Victoria’s Secret is THE place for glam, girly, and edgy sportswear. You can stock up on slightly innuendoed panties, or cheeky graphic tees with your sports team’s logo. Each season brings a new collection of fun in styles from tanks and hoodies to shorts, yoga pants and of course, undergarments. This isn’t limited to football, though, and baseball and basketball garb is also available, as well as college team spirit swag.

Pit Stop #2: NFLShop.com

One (semi-drunken) night last fall I spent HOURS on the NFL shop browsing everything they have to offer. From collaborations with Alyssa Milano to our favorite vintage-looking t-shirt brand, JunkFood, the NFL has really stepped up their women’s apparel! Even better is that you can customize jersey’s and tees, like the one I designed for my self with my favorite team, number, and my name. Much better than buying a player’s jersey and then watching them get traded within a few years.

3rd Base: Etsy

Have I ever mentioned to you all how much I LOVE Etsy? You can basically find anything you can imagine, handmade. Want Denver NFL lingerie? They’ve got it. Baby onesies or sundresses with Miami Dolphins logos? Done. You can even order a Red Sox themed tutu dress. OH YES.

The Home Stretch: CrackHead SnapBacks

Now, while I’m personally not into snap backs, this brand is something you can’t overlook! Fierce, studded and edgy, the perfect way to glam up your team spirit! Also, compared to VS and Etsy, they have the broadest selection of teams and sports to choose from and they do custom orders.

What do you think of gearing up for sporting events in style? Which of these styles would you wear? Let us know in the comments!
