Jim Henson fans unite this winter (and next spring) with the craziest trend I’ve seen yet! Yeti-chic, or as others like to call it, Muppet Style. It’s all about the fur (it should be noted that there are lots of great fake versions of the real deal available to purchase) anywhere you can don it, from jackets to shoes. And with Big Bird and his furry friends’ jobs on the chopping block, you can show your support fashionably!

From left to right, Alberta Ferretti, BCBG, Jason Wu, Bibhu Mohapatra, and Mulberry showcase fur apparel in all styles. Not only jackets, but dresses as well, in colors ranging from toned down neutrals to the bright hues.

Now, let’s not forget the accessories. Oh, yes: fur accessories. Everyone from Miu Miu to Fendi has showcased furry purses, but Givenchy and Celine have taken in a step further with sunglasses and shoes. The Celine furry shoes have been raising chatter everywhere since their catwalk debut this past September.

Where to buy? While I personally think furry shoes will take awhile to hit most fast fashion retailers, if ever, but fur-ocious bags and jackets can be found almost anywhere! Cheap fauxs at Forever21 and H&M, and Zara already has fur and faux fur sleeved and full jackets on their racks.
