The 5 Best Drugstore Lipsticks For Fall

The 5 Best Drugstore Lipsticks For Fall

There is no denying it – fall is officially here, and it has got to be my favorite season for fashion and beauty! Recently I went through my lip collection and picked out some of my favorite fall products, all from the drugstore, so you too can explore the trends on a budget!

First up (left to right, above) is the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Lovesick. If you’re still holding onto your summer brights, this stain is a great transition into the new season. A beautiful fuchsia shade, this is a long lasting stain with a great formula that is not drying or unflattering on imperfect lips like many traditional stains are.

Next is the Rimmel Lasting Finish by Kate Lipstick in 04, a dark plummy purple. This lipstick is creamy and pigmented but buildable, and applies opaquely and evenly for suh a deep shade. It is quite similar to MAC’s Cyber lipstick, but with a little more purple to it.  This creates a fantastic deep lip look for fall!

Berry shades are perfect for this season, and I love Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick in 410 Blissful Berry. This shade is a glossy rich berry, is pigmented, long lasting and not drying.

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in 745 Raspberry Bite is my current favorite lipstick! This cool toned deep raspberry shade is SUPER pigmented, and is beautiful worn as a stain! It is long wearing and moisturizing with a crème finish. It looks much darker in the tube than on the lips, so be sure to swatch it on your skin. Photos don’t do it justice, definitely go check this one out!

Last but not least is the Revlon Matte Lipstick in Really Red. Bright matte lips are a huge trend this season! My favorite matte lipstick formula from the drugstore is Revlon (I swear they are not paying me to say this, I just really like Revlon lip products!). These are true mattes without being drying or highlighting flaky fall lips. My all time fave from the line was Strawberry Suede, a super bright dark pink with an almost coral hue. Unfortunately this shade has been discontinued (oh, cruel world) so I recently picked up Really Red, which is a true neutral vibrant red that is perfect for the colder months.

I hope you try some of these out! Let me know what your favorite colors and beauty products are for fall! I’ll be checking the comments below.
