I’m going to tell you up front: if you have been on the hunt for a really, really, really pink lipstick, Viva Glam Nicki is it.

I gotta tell you, I was super excited for this lipstick. Nicki Minaj loves hot pink almost as much as I do, so I knew it was going to be extremely bright. When I got the email saying I could buy it before it even hit the online store, I got that lipstick in my e-cart in about .2 seconds. And when it came in the mail, I quite literally squealed.

You guys, I’m in love with this color. It’s so bright and neon in person. I wish my camera had accurately picked up the color because it’s really SO BRIGHT. You can tell that this color was chosen by Nicki Minaj. My only issue with it is that it’s a satin lipstick, which I hate because they cake up on my dry lips so easily. I would suggest using a moisturizing lip balm about 5 minutes before putting this on, and applying Viva Glam Nicki with a lip brush to work it into the balm to make it a bit creamier and easier to work with.

Since Viva Glam Nicki is so bright and demands to be the center of attention, I wear it with very simple make-up. Foundation, blush, mascara, and eyebrows. Nothing fancy. Viva Glam Nicki deserves to be the center of attention. It’s a perfect Nicki Minaj color.
