Maybelline Goes To Social Media To Announce 40 New Polishes
Maybelline is stepping it up and changing the game when it comes to nail color! Introducing the Maybelline Color Show line with 40 new shades. That’s right, forty. Why? So your nails can be your best fashion accessory!
Along with the new line of colors comes an exciting social media campaign. Maybelline was generating some buzz this weekend via websites like Twitter, where #ColorShow was a top trending topic. They also launched a fun website, which features an interactive color wheel and fashion examples for how to style each nail color.
As for the polishes themselves, they are runway inspired and come in an array of fittingly fashionable names: Denim Dash, Orange Fix, Silver Stunner, Porcelain Party, Chiffon Chic, and Dressed to Kill, just to name a few. Also in the collection? Four “shredded” shades rivaling the Sally Hansen “Crackle“. Boasting chip-resistant color, an easier applicator brush, and Formaldehyde, DBP and Toluene-free, Maybelline’s Color Show is definitely a step-up from your average nail laquer.
You can even find Color Show on Pinterest and as it’s own app. This new line is the most interactive I’ve seen for a cosmetics brand, and I couldn’t be more intrigued!
