Get The “Breaking Bad” Look In 3 Fashionable Steps
If you’re a fan of the television show Breaking Bad, you’ll know that season five just started. If you haven’t yet seen the show, all four previous seasons are on Netflix, so what are you waiting for? Get on it! Simply put, Breaking Bad is AMC’s award winning drama about a chemistry teacher turned meth cook. It’s an addicting, complex show that I can’t recommend enough.
Walter White, portrayed by actor Bryan Cranston, is the series lead, and while people may call him a great many things, “style icon” is not one I have heard before. However, with a little creativity, you can support your favorite meth cook by sporting some Walter White-inspired outfits this season!
The “Classic Walt” Look

Walt’s iconic no-pants poster from season one is easily the basis for a beachy summer look! Pay tribute to Walt’s undergarments in a white bikini and to his green button-up in a minty cover-up! And, if you so desire, you can rough it by spending the night in a camper. (Just make sure it’s not a meth lab first.)

The “Day Job Walt” Look

When he’s not cooking, Walt can often be found in khakis and a button up. He’s also fond of sporting a signature black hat when his Heisenberg (alias) persona comes out. Update Walt’s look by wearing a gingham shirt and some khaki skinnies. Trade his jacket for a cute cardigan and his hat for a fun bow headband.

The “Walt at Work” Look

Of course, much of the time we see Walt, he’s cooking meth in the lab. This requires full protective gear. Put a wearable spin on his lab garb by sporting a bright orange playsuit and swapping his mask for some big, dramatic sunglasses. A blue piece of jewelry is a fun nod to Walt’s signature product, as is a Saul Goodman (Walt’s lawyer) iPhone case!
